Lemon Balm with Dr. Mary Bove

Episode Summary

After 50 years of working with herbs, Dr. Mary Bove has a lot of wisdom and insights to share! In this episode, we get to hear about her love for lemon balm. She also gives a great summary on the lemon balm and hypothyroidism issue.

You’ll also get to hear her take on herbs for pregnancy. This is something I’m asked about a lot and Mary is an expert in the subject. So I’m excited to be able to share her thoughts.

And as a listener, you also have access to Mary’s recipe for Lemon Rose Tea. There’s a free, downloadable and printable recipe card available just for you. You can find it in the section below.

By the end of this episode, you’ll know:

► How lemon balm can be a lifelong ally for all sorts of concerns from childhood ADHD to cognitive health in old age

► How critical thinking can help you avoid being misled by herbal myths

► Three keys to working with herbal medicine effectively

► What to think about when deciding whether and/or how to take herbs during pregnancy

► How connecting with plants and nature can enhance our intuition and artistic expression

► and so much more…(including what Oscar-winning actor purchased herbal wreaths from Dr. Bove early in her herbal journey)
